Garth deVilliers (1997 – 2022) was an exceptional young man and member of ASSC whose life ended far too soon.
Garth’s infectious spirit, his warm and goofy personality, and his effortless way of making everyone feel important and included are only a few of the things we’ll miss about this incredible guy.
In honour of Garth’s life and the impact he had on all of us at ASSC, we have renamed our championship trophy the deVilliers Cup, as well as introducing The Garth deVilliers Award for Sportsmanship.
Rest in peace, Garth. You are greatly missed.
